How to find the halfway point between two places
- Type the first address, place or coordinates next to A — or tap the location button to use where you are now.

Three ways to meet in the middle
"Halfway" can mean different things, and they can be kilometers apart:
- Equal time — the point on the route where both people have travelled for the same amount of time. If one side has highways and the other has city streets, this point moves toward the slower side, so neither of you waits for the other. It is usually the fairest choice for driving.
- Route distance — the point halfway along the route by distance. Simple and predictable, good for walking and cycling.
- Straight line — the geographic midpoint as the crow flies. It ignores roads, so it may land in a river, a park or on the wrong side of a highway, but it is a quick reference for flights or very long trips.
A meeting point for a group
Add up to ten people. With three or more, choose what "fair" means for your group:
- Fairest keeps the longest trip as short as possible — nobody ends up travelling much further than everyone else.
- Least total makes everyone's distances, added together, as small as possible (the geometric median). Good for carpools, deliveries or a team office; less kind to whoever lives furthest out.
- Center is the plain geographic center of all the locations.
Whichever you choose, the table shows each person's real travel time to the spot, the longest trip and the gap between the longest and shortest, so you can see at a glance how fair the result is.
Pick a place to actually meet
A midpoint is rarely somewhere you can sit down. Once the meeting point is shown, choose Cafés, Food, Bars, Parks or Parking to list places nearby. Picking one makes it the meeting point and updates everyone's travel time. You can also drag the orange star anywhere and the times follow.
