Which tool do I need?
- You have coordinates and need another format — use the Coordinate Converter; it shows every format at once.
- You have an address and need coordinates — use the Latitude Longitude Finder.
- You have coordinates and need an address — use Address from Coordinates.
- You need your own position — open My Coordinates on your phone.
- You have a spreadsheet column of points — paste it into the Batch Converter.
- Points land a few hundred metres off in China — use the WGS-84 / GCJ-02 / BD-09 converter.
One datum: WGS 84
Every tool here uses WGS 84, the datum of GPS, Google Maps, OpenStreetMap and most web maps. Coordinates from old paper maps or national grids may use a different datum and can differ by tens to hundreds of metres; convert them to WGS 84 first.
Private by design
Conversions run in your browser. Only place searches and address lookups are sent to the map provider, and your recent points are stored on your own device.
